These are super cute and I got a lot of compliments when I used them during a party. However, the suction cups were useless in my pool (salt water, all levels well within desired range, no algae). We tried the magnets, which were better but after people were in the pool, not even near the lights, the lights had all slipped. Then we thought they would look cool on the bottom and went to move them and discovered one significantly leaking. We had followed the directions carefully to avoid but figured we messed up somehow so reset the back and tried again.it continued to leak so we used it elsewhere for fear it would ruin the liner. We just discovered another one is leaking but since we pulled them all for winter, we figure we'll just try again with them next year. I would suggest just taking them out whenever they won't be in use.
