Review on 🔦 Kichler 38171 Distressed Semi Flush Mount Light Fixture, 3 Lights, in Black Metal and Wood by Brandi Stone

We recently decided to upgrade the ceiling lights in a large part of our home and decided to take the risk of using this light for a busy area in the house. Overall, the lantern was easy to install depending on how it was put together. The heavy piece of glass is inserted after everything is set up and ready to take the weight, making the task easier. The look is actually pretty awesome for a home with a more rustic, classic, rugged design. The light also comes with a set of three 60 watt (I think) Edison bulbs. To me they're pretty useless matte and yellow, but the alternative is a set of warm 2700K LED bulbs, which are WAY too bright even at this low frequency. If the glass was frosted the LEDs might work better for us, but they don't, it's crystal clear. Overall, the workmanship, the appearance and the functionality of this lamp meets my expectations. You cannot install this unit at an angle on a sloping ceiling with the included hardware. This will require you to either purchase other universal mounting hardware or look for a different mount.
