Read the mixed reviews for these filters. Some claimed that they didn't work and the water flowed everywhere until it was thick. I compared them to real Mr Coffee filters, exact match. Some say you have to get wet to flow. Tried it in the kitchen sink. Filter drained, no flow. Then I tried a real Mr Coffee filter, same thing. Put one of these in the filter holder, poured 12 cups of water into the tank. Left the Mr. Coffee Maker lid open so I could keep an eye on the overflow. It never happened! Hot water flowed from the sink to the filter and then to the coffee pot. Mr. Coffee Maker gradually pours hot water. The filter has passed up to 12 cups of water through the coffee pot. 12 cups at the entrance. 12 cups out. No overflow when I looked.
