Need a smart outdoor lighting plug to control lights that were a hassle to turn on and off manually every night. First download the HBN Smart app and then follow the included instructions. It was very easy to set up. Remember that you need to switch your smartphone to the 2.4 GHz radio frequency of your wireless network in order to set it up. Like most IoT devices, it operates on a 2.4GHz network. If connected to Alexa, first install the HBN Smart Skill via the Alexa app, then scan for new devices. Easy again! I like being able to control the entire device or each of the two ports independently. I use the scheduling feature in the HBN app to automatically turn the lights on and off each day. Easy to set up and works flawlessly. I will update this review if any issues or problems arise. If I needed another smart outlet for the road, I would buy it.
