I found this rug while looking for a way to protect the new tile floor in my home office; I didn't want to use those typical "condom-like" vinyl floor mats you see everywhere (and I always unroll them anyway), so I opted for a medium sized rug instead. I'm sticking with it because my office is done in neutral tones and I love earthy tones anyway. I was concerned about the thickness of the mat or that it might slip when I move it around in my favorite Herman Miller Aeron chair (I "bump" a lot"), so I also ordered a non-slip Gorilla Grip mat. A mat to put on (because reviews of the Gorilla Mat just can't be denied). And now I've been using the rug for a few days and I can say I like it. In fact, it's perfect for what I wanted it for (rocking in my Aeron chair without ruining my new floor). It was a little tricky to attach the gorilla cushion and then place the rug perfectly on top of it, but after a few tries I found the best way to do this, first stretching the gorilla rug right where I needed the rug wanted to lay and roll the rug into a perfect tube and then unfold the mat over the Gorilla Mat. works great and is only twice the price of those disgusting Chair Condom(tm) vinyl condoms? I think it will work great as a floor protector in my office/workspace. The chair rolls over the carpet and cushion combination without disturbing the position in the slightest. It's amazing and I'm thrilled that I took the risk. Carpet (also Gorilla carpet). Of course, my constant "boost" can wear the mat down in a few years, but I'm perfectly fine with that. if the price is the same after three years? I will happily buy another one Necessary details: - The rug was delivered neatly folded and unfolded just as neatly; The corners remained flared for several minutes, but quickly smoothed out. No delivery problems. Colors are 100% true to Revain photos. The rug only measures about half an inch. It's not a very heavy rug but still lays nice and flat (again I have a few pieces of furniture so keep that in mind. Overall? Delighted with the purchase. Great looking rug and works great with the casters on my Aeron chair. (although with a really nice carpet underneath). :-)
