Gets the job done. It only gets 3 stars because advantages: + Ready to use. All you need is a hammer + Inexpensive and quick to attach to wood + Didn't damage the fabric of the pergola or the wood + Holds the fabric in place very firmly and securely. Cons: - They cannot be removed and reinstalled. Use needle nose pliers to remove it and it's 50/50 if it keeps its shape or all 8 teeth. Even very careful removal of these rendered the mounts unusable. Of the 50, only about 3 could not successfully drive all of their teeth into the tree on the first attempt to drive them into the wooden arbor. Some of the teeth broke and just lay down instead of going into the woods. Yes, I would recommend this closure. I would also use them again to keep my current gazebo. I'm also always open to better solutions if they exist.
