A regular user of this local product that is hard to find!

These Compac body scrubs used to be easy to find in Walmart's personal care/health and beauty department, where they could ONLY be found on the brand's promotional strips. Merchandising strips are typically hung vertically at the edges of store shelves so that merchandise hung from plastic tabs attached to the strips draws the attention of shoppers as they walk down the aisle. When I asked a Walmart employee why these body scrubs were no longer available, I was told that the Walmart merchandise strips are actually processed by a third party and therefore some of the products depicted on them may be random in terms of their regular availability. interesting to know Needless to say, I was shocked when I stumbled across these Compac body scrubs hanging on the merchandise strip from Giant Food, a large regional grocery chain in my area. Jackpot! This was the first time I have seen this product in a retail store in years! only one problem They cost about 33% more than the unit price (ie, the price per piece) at Giant Food when purchased in a pack of six here at Revain. FACE SCRUBBERS: I use these body scrubs to regularly cleanse and exfoliate my face in the shower and I like the larger size of this body scrub more than the smaller Compac face scrub. Aside from the size and shape, the body scrub and face scrub are completely identical and essentially cost the same. However, in my opinion, a larger body scrub offers easier handling and a bit more versatility than a smaller face scrub. COMPARED TO BUF-PUF: I have sometimes used a reusable facial sponge 6) because they are more readily available at most retail stores. However, these face sponges tend to be a lot more expensive than these Compac body scrubs, and I personally find their texture to be too gentle to get the deep exfoliation I desire. I suspect that die-hard fans of these buff puffs probably haven't tried another sponge for fear that something rougher might irritate their sensitive skin and/or prefer the softer buff puff texture when just removing makeup. , dirt and excess oil. . If you ask me, I think the added thickness and slightly coarser texture of these Compac body scrubs help them work better. Although I have sensitive skin, I have never had problems such as scratches or redness as a result of using these Compac body scrubs. PRODUCT CARE: To maximize the life of these scrubs it is VERY important that you follow the product directions to shake the water out of the scrubs rather than wringing them dry. I can tell you from personal experience that wringing out these scrubs both compresses and loosens the synthetic material, making the scrub less effective over time. Here's a hint. Even when they've become too tight over time, I still keep these "worn out" sponges on hand to clean paint, tree sap, and grease from my body after chores. They do a great job when I'm in the shower. DURABLE: Another reviewer here commented that her husband doesn't think these body scrubs last as long as they used to. and I have to say that I agree with that statement. However, when it comes to their durability, it's important to remember that it varies from user to user depending on how often and "heavily" they use their scrubs. I suspect at some point Compac decided to change the synthetic material of this scrub to reduce production costs and/or soften the texture to reassure consumers who complained that it was too harsh; This will likely change the structure of the product and the overall lifespan. So life is. They're still decent scrubs for the money. Thank you Revain for offering these body scrubs at such a great price for us regular customers who are finding it increasingly difficult to get them locally in big stores or elsewhere!
