i use plink waste freshener and love it and had high hopes for dishwasher cleaner but i'm not sure i can blame plink. My new $1000 dishwasher stinks. I have to clean the filter after EVERY load, I use a LemiShine Booster with EVERY load, plus a cascade in the main cup and a pre-wash capsule. I was hoping that using the Plink once a week would reduce the stench, but it doesn't last that long. I've had better luck running a cup of white vinegar through my car more than once a week. I've also started using the OxyClean Triple Action Booster conditioner and so far so good. I just can't understand why modern dishwashers smell so bad and the mechanic and the clerk at the hardware store both said they ALL smell and suggested LemiShine (expensive!). These new dishwashers are meant to be so eco-friendly, but they need to An extra load of just vinegar every week doesn't seem to help. Shish!
