These socks definitely help! I have a horrible crack in one of my heels that gets worse when I go barefoot in the summer. I use scrub and lotion but it never seems to work, even putting on heavy cream and regular socks before bed does nothing except make my sheets greasy with cream. But these helped! There's definitely no "aloe" or other moisturizing properties in them other than the fact that they're silicone and don't breathe, so I snapped a star. Just pure silicone so there is no airflow so you can imagine the moisture staying in for some time. So I modified them a bit by cutting off my toes to allow my toes to breathe a little more. I place it where it's right on my heel and sometimes I don't even realize it's there. Before bed I shower and exfoliate my skin, then add some of my repair creams and then apply to sleep! It definitely helped keep moisture around my heel and my foot felt better and not as sore in the morning. I'm glad I found them and will definitely be buying more!
