Review on Rain-X 5079279-1 Latitude Wiper Blade - 22" (Single Pack) by Jon Lewis

I chose the Rain-X Latitude wiper blades for my 2014 Ram 1500 truck as they were considered an advanced upgrade to durable, high performance wiper blades. I was willing to pay close to $50 for a pair considering I live in a very rainy city. I followed the product fitting recommendations on the Rain-X website and many others to select the 22" brushes for my vehicle. Blades do not lay flat: After installing them, I found that the wiper blades only touch the glass in the center of each blade, leaving the last 2 inches on either side of both blades without touching the glass. This leaves streaks and only cleans 80% of the area that OEM blades clean. Blades are loud: Another reason I chose these blades was for noise reduction. Rain-X product reviews promise noise reduction but are much louder than the OEM blades and make a loud popping noise when fully extended which is very annoying on a long ride. Support Not Responding: I called a Rain-X customer. Support 12 times in the last three days only to stay idle until the system hangs automatically. In summary, while these blades work great on other vehicles, Rain-X didn't investigate how they would fit on one of the truck brand's most popular windshields. Do not buy this product for Ram 1500.
