I wasn't quite sure how it would work when I ordered it, but I'm happy with the decoration. Essentially, the jewelry has a magic wand inside that contains a significant number of LEDs controlled by a microchip. The wand spins very quickly and at a controlled speed and the LEDs turn on and off or change color. The result for the human eye is an image that appears within the ornament. There are several images presented as a slide show. This is a relatively expensive decoration, but interesting enough to be the focal point of your decorations this holiday season. Personally, I love having 'special' focal points in my decor to grab the attention of holidaymakers and it's a nice addition. Due to the level of technological precision required to render the hologram effect, I'm not sure how long this will take, but for now I'm excited to see the feedback we'll get this season.
