. I use it in my bedroom, it eliminates very well the bad smell coming from the air ducts. My HVAC dad did an investigation and can't figure out what's causing my register to smell so bad. Best suggestion was to throw a dryer in, but that didn't work. I use this air separator and it works great. I also have one next to two litter boxes and it doesn't even seem to be there until you start scooping. I was skeptical but this little thing is tough! It has been working constantly in my room since around November or December when I bought it. It has a nice, soothing hum, not loud, but the fan hums, and replacing the charcoal filter is easy.
