These floor mats are listed as non-toxic but are not. When I received these floor mats, there was a strong CA Proposition 65 warning on the packaging stating that this product contains LEAD and other toxic chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects, etc. PVC (Toxic), no EVA (Non-Toxic) . PVC products can chip over time, especially when exposed to heat and other elements commonly found in cars. (I'm assuming that the scratches and scuffs that floor mats suffer on a daily basis will only accelerate delamination). I don't want my family to breathe or ingest dust that contains lead, phthalates and other toxic chemicals, which is why these rugs are coming back.
