Brilliant thing. I've never raised brine shrimp but I accidentally got a guppy fry in a Petsmart bag and it was so tiny it couldn't even eat flake food if I ground it to dust. I was worried it would be a big challenge to grow, but that's what makes it SO EASY. I have San Francisco Bay brand shrimp and they have excellent hatchability rates. They hatch in about 24 hours and go into the net - just pick up the net and pop into the aquarium and you're done. I keep it on my desk next to the tank. As long as you don't squeeze it, the shell stays on the sides and outside of the mesh. I've even used it without the recommended light and it still works well. I kept them alive for about 3 days with a small amount of yeast and spirulina. After that I think they need more oxygen so I'm setting them up now to raise them when the guppies are adult!
