Actually, wear with any socks because even in summer, the material is a little uncomfortable for my picky feet.Caveats are 1) not recommended for people with even minor mobility issues-if you tend to trip over your own feet sometimes, be sure to walk more carefully with these, especially on carpet and 2) the upper is not very flexible, can rub or irritate, which is why I wear socks. I have very high arches and insteps, this is a really comfortable shoe for in the house, but I do have to be careful in them.
