Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Effortlessly Comfortable: Propet Women's Wash N Wear Slip On Ll Walking Shoe by Sarah Jones

Revainrating 5 out of 5

UPDATED: ATTENTION! THIS IS NOT THE W3851 YOU BOUGHT!

UPDATE 1/12/19 I bought 2 pairs of Propet Wash and Wear Slip-On shoes in September 2018. I usually wear a pair for 6 months because I walk a lot so I wanted to have an extra pair on hand. Imagine my surprise when I put on a second pair last week and found they didn't fit. They were incredibly tight. When I realized that shoes usually need to be broken in, stretched, etc., I wore them for 4 days and tried very hard to break them in and stretch them - to no avail. By the end of the fourth day I could barely walk in my shoes and when I took them off I found bruises on the tops of my feet because the shoes were so tight. Apparently Propet changed the style of these shoes - the first pair I bought was the standard W3851, but the second pair sent to me at the same time was apparently the new Wash and Wear model Slip On II, though it should have the same style. I don't know if they changed the manufacturing company, changed the style of the shoes, or what they did, but wearing these shoes brings new pains now. As I bought both pairs about 6 months ago I cannot return this pair. I have emailed the company and am waiting for a reply. These shoes are not cheap and I really didn't expect that. From my research it looks like the W3851 is going to be phased out - it's going to be hard to even find a white and white version my size - they're sold out everywhere I look. Very annoying. I will have to look elsewhere for shoes that fit my feet this well. ---------------- -------- ORIGINAL REVIEW: I *never* buy any other brand of shoes while I can get them! I've been wearing and going through Propet washable sneakers for over 5 years. a pair about every 6 months because I wear them so often and walk a lot. The recent improvement in sole construction is a welcome change - prior to this very last pair I bought, the sole of the shoe was made from pieces and glued to the bottom of the shoe - meaning that as the pieces started to wear out they would wear out detach and fly off the sole of the shoe. (I can't tell you how many times I glued them together to make the shoe last that little bit longer.) Now the new sole construction is one piece - a huge improvement! It even feels more stable and durable under my feet than the previous design. Kudos to Propet for this design improvement! Since these shoes don't come cheap and money can be limited at times, if I find them for sale here at Revain or elsewhere I try to find a pair if I have money to spare, or if I need to buy a pair if I do can afford it I buy 2 pairs so I'm not in well-worn shoes (not good for posture, back or feet) and always have a pair on hand.
