This soap is terrible. It is calcareous and brittle. The bars will fall apart after reaching about half the original size.1. I seriously doubt this is made by the Amish as the quality is just poor. It is very brittle, calcareous and has large chunks. Very sloppy work.2. The smell is similar to what you would find in commercial soap. So if that's one of the reasons you're looking for a handmade bar, because it's a different flavor, then this bar isn't for you. I do not recommend. Updated after using bars for a long time.
