Review on Beats Solo3 Wireless Headphones, Red by Adam Turczyk ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not all that bad, but there are minuses.

As for sound insulation - it is not, but it is not declared by the manufacturer. In the subway or on the street, of course, extraneous noises slip through, but you can live. In general, the price is too high. It is clear that this is a brand, but it is also headphones, all the same. And the headphones should sound, and this model has huge problems with this. If you have never used anything other than AirPods, for example, or similar plugs, you may not notice this, but if you understand what sound can be like, and what can be called good sound, I do not advise you to take this model. Even the old Beats EPs were more upbeat, I think. I do not advise you three times if you listen to music in which medium and high frequencies predominate. As a result - perfectly emphasizing your image, but very mediocre-sounding headphones.

Pros
  • The battery capacity is really huge, even using the headphones for 7-8 hours a day, the charge is enough for almost a week. With a less loaded mode - enough for a month, no doubt. The design of the Beats, as always, pleases, they look stylish - you can’t say anything. Assembled at first glance with high quality, I have been using it for about a month, nothing has peeled off or fallen off, everything works as on the first day. The charge identifier is on the earbuds themselves, which is very convenient. Huge connection radius, personally tested - really + -40 meters.
Cons
  • They turn off even at 0 degrees, not instantly, but quickly enough, although this is fixed with a cord. Sound. SOUND. I’ll make a reservation right away that the headphones are 100% original, bought with an iPhone directly from Apple. And for such a price - the sound is simply terrible, there are TENS of options where everything is much better and at a lower cost. If the situation is back and forth with low frequencies, all the same it is beats, then the top and middle sound flat, if it can be called sound at all. Yes, and the overall volume is very weak. They are certainly better than AirPods, but, frankly, anything is better than AirPods, so this is little consolation. In addition, these are still not plugs, you expect something sensible from such a form factor, after all. If sound matters to you, you will be disappointed. They really press on the ears, but not so much, you get used to it in a couple of days. There is no off button, they have to be unlinked from the phone through the settings on the phone itself and wait until they decide to turn off themselves. The volume and pause buttons sound very loud when pressed - they click right into the brain, I try to use them to a minimum. The microphone is the same as the sound - no. You can use it in a quiet room, on the street - forget it, only by cord.
