Surprisingly good
My kids (5 and 7 years old) use it. The iPad didn't fall more than 2 feet (onto hardwood) but I'm happy to report that it escaped unscathed. The suitcase isn't pretty, but it doesn't look like a toy either, which my boys appreciate. I would call it medium strong. The pen holder fits a Logitech Crayon pen; it seems a little delicate, so we try to be gentle with it. The lid is loosened all the time; I plan to glue it. I had low expectations but would buy it again.
