Fantastic Amplifier Board

I've been playing around with bluetooth only boards to build speakers for a while, but I use Airplay around the house and Spotify as my primary music provider. The Arylic Audio Up2stream Amplifier is a bit more expensive than Bluetooth only boards but seems to have a lot of Wi-Fi based features so I took a chance and bought an Arylic soundboard to see how it works. To be honest I enjoyed myself. All the components on the board are of good quality, I had a few questions for the Arylic customer service team regarding the power supply and they responded quickly and were very helpful. I installed my lithium ion battery. , created a 24V battery bank and now the device works on both mains and battery. For the record, the volume is just as loud on battery power as it is on its 24v power supply! One thing to note here is that if you're using a battery, you'll need an external switch to turn the board on and off, otherwise you'll just drain the battery! The 4stream app works well and gives you the functionality to run multiple amplifiers to set up multiple rooms. I use Rogue Amoeba's multi-room software called Satellite which allows me to create a multi-room setup with all broadcast equipment and Arylic audio integrated into that network once connected to the network. It will be automatically recognized by any broadcast-enabled device. It has other features for Android users but I don't have Android devices so I can't comment on it! Sound quality and volume are very convincing. I'm not one of those crazy high-end audiophiles with $10,000 speakers, but I value good sound quality and this amp doesn't disappoint. Even from the small ghetto blaster I built (see video), the sound is crisp, clear, and with minimal distortion at volume. This is a really great little amp and if you are looking for a basic multiroom or wi-fi enabled amp this is a really good unit. They just released a new version with 2.1 so you can add a subwoofer. It's a bit pricey but I think it will be next on my list!
