Post-receipt off-calibration has evolved even further.
1.2 degrees F out of the box compared to my lab grade apex temperature sensor. Drifted closer to 2 degrees Fahrenheit in less than 6 months. Now I use it to estimate the ambient temperature, not to measure the water temperature. Not worth paying for shipping to replace possibly same problem.
