For some reason, foldable headphones have almost disappeared from our planet. I saw two reasonable options at Revain and bought both. These SONYs were slightly more expensive, but the difference is more down to a compromise between sound quality and portability. The SONY deliver good mids in addition to the highs, and the bass isn't bad, which isn't the case with the other pair. The downside is that they're big even when folded - you can't just toss them in your bag (especially your pocket) and forget about them until you need them. And they seem a little fragile so I'm not sure I need to buy one of the protective cases. So. If you hate headphones (like me) and want to travel with a pair of headphones that are good enough for listening to music, watching movies or whatever, then these headphones are for you. I'm just not sure if I'm willing to put up with the space (and weight) in my bag or move on.
