Review on AC Infinity AIRPLATE Cooling Cabinets Computer Components by Jose Perry

I had a problem with my desktop PC overheating in my computer desk and immediately started looking for a solution. I stumbled across the AC Infinity Airplate S3, read the reviews and decided to give it a try. I bought two, one for the fresh air intake and one for the exhaust. As soon as you opened it you could see that the parts were high quality and the contents of the box contained everything needed for installation (apart from power tools). The direction of the fan can be easily changed by removing the fan from the case and flipping it to blow in the other direction. This takes a minute or two. The mounting template came in very handy and fits perfectly with the fan housing. While you can power the fans and plug them into a USB port on your computer, I chose to use an AC wall adapter that claims to increase fan speeds by 25%. With the right tools (in my case a jigsaw, cordless drill and sawdust vacuum), the installation of the two fans was completed in about 30 minutes. I placed the air intake low and in front of the computer fan and the exhaust higher for best heat dissipation. After running the fans for a few seconds, I noticed a drastic difference in case temperature and my PC was colder than ever. Sometimes the temperature in my closet seems even lower than room temperature. The fans are silent except for the noise of Ram Air. If you are looking for a high quality fan, these Airplate S3 are definitely not for you!
