Ideal for hot liquids
I like my coffee hot. Literally. But it makes it hard to drink without burning your mouth, yes. So I use a straw and they are perfect! They're very narrow, like a cocktail straw, so the amount you draw is big enough to satisfy you, but small enough that you don't get a nasty surprise you weren't prepared for. That's just the right height for my Yeti glass. They are also ideal for young children as they prevent them from sucking up too much liquid.
