With an ordinary thermometer, of course, it cannot be compared, the Sensitec thermometer measures much faster. I have no complaints about the accuracy, how many times I checked with mercury, so many times the readings coincided. The instructions say that the thermometer is calibrated, I have not done anything yet. Bought, took the device out of the box, inserted the batteries and everything works. Measures correctly (ttt, just in case). Using a contactless device is also more convenient. It does not need to be held for a long time, after pressing the start button, the numbers pop up on the screen almost immediately. And a second probably doesn't pass. It turns off by itself, you don't need to turn it off. Energy-saving, in fact, the batteries do not run out quickly. With sensitec, I don't get as stressed as before. I'm not afraid that it will slip and break. Or I’ll start shaking off the previous readings and crack the thermometer on something. Our mercury one is still very hard to get off, you can shake your hand until the column drops. Now all these problems are gone and, I hope, will not return. Operating the thermometer is easy. All the necessary buttons are nearby, starting the process, exactly under the finger. Modes switch easily. When you need to measure, for example, the temperature of the water in the bath, I move the slider from “Body” to “Surface”, bring it to the surface and measure it. Very comfortably.
