Review on Schwinn Steerable Beginner Bicycle Training by Francisco Russell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect for any level of rider learning

This balance bike exceeded my expectations! Everything for this age group seems to have plastic wheels or non-removable running shoes. If they have real wheels with removable sneakers, they are too big for toddlers and don't have a parent handle. Well, this little Schwinn is not only adorable, but also fits. Our little 3 year old pedals with no problem. A week later he was pedaling himself and knew how to break his back! There's no steering wheel, which is great. It was difficult for my two older children to break the habit of using them and retire instead. The parent grip is great for teaching him to steer on his own, as we drive he gets a natural steering feel. We're not ready to take the training wheels off just yet, but I think a parent grip would help with that as well. Don't run alongside them, crouch and try not to drop them. My 3 year old loves the bell and pretends it's his fire alarm! I definitely recommend this tricycle with plastic wheels, it will guide you through more learning.
