Review on Speck PixelSkin Rubberized Touch Purple by Melody Watson

Great case! I'm using it with a 64GB 3rd gen touchscreen

I've been struggling with the case for almost two months since I bought my 64GB iPod 3rd gen . Haven't used it yet because I was afraid that if I used it without the case (and I probably would) I'd break it or pick it up scuffed and scratched. Initially, I was looking for a case that offered both screen protection and body protection. After not finding a decent one, I finally decided to trust the positive reviews about the bacon. Boy am I glad I did! Quality at the highest level. The case arrived in quality packaging and slid to my new touch very easily. There was no need to pull or force him. The fit was snug enough to inspire confidence in the security of my device, but not at all tight or tiring. For the screen, I just grabbed a pack of clear screen protectors (ironically, they took a lot longer to install than the Speck Case). The body did not significantly increase the mass of the unit. The iPod is still pretty, thin and small, case and all. It has a nice, hard rubber feel and I no longer feel like a chunky drop is inevitable when picking up my new iPod. Despite the fact that the case covers the side and top buttons, there are moldings that indicate their location and it doesn't interfere with operation in any way. The bottom ports are free and easily accessible. The case doesn't seem to attract lint or dust (so far) as I would expect (considering the material). I would highly recommend this case if you are looking for a decent 3rd gen (or older) iPod Touch case.
