I once made the mistake of cooking on my Jetboil without a pot attachment. I ended up melting the plastic casing and damaging the ignition wire that runs around the bottom of the stove. This adapter works very well. It snaps right onto the burner when the legs are rotated inwards (as in the picture). It keeps flames away from plastic parts and holds the weight well. I recommend using a fuel canister rack for extra cooking stability. The only thing that bothers me is that it doesn't fit very well (or at all) in my Minimo storage system.
