Minimal Benefit Best Outdoor Recreation Solution

In my flame tests, this addition did little to improve heat dissipation at the bottom of the pot. I poured a thin layer of water into several aluminum pans and checked where the water bubbles (boiling) were. The bubbles were arranged in a circle slightly larger than the burner with minimal additional scatter. It's pointless with a frying pan. This is one way to put the pot on the stove, but you will end up with a small boiling point in the center of the pot. In the end, your best bet is to just

Works great, but doesn't fit into the Minimo system!

I once made the mistake of cooking on my Jetboil without a pot attachment. I ended up melting the plastic casing and damaging the ignition wire that runs around the bottom of the stove. This adapter works very well. It snaps right onto the burner when the legs are rotated inwards (as in the picture). It keeps flames away from plastic parts and holds the weight well. I recommend using a fuel canister rack for extra cooking stability. The only thing that bothers me is that it doesn't fit veryโ€ฆ

  • Doubt

I wanted something to use my kettle with another pot or pan for an upcoming trip. I needed a larger pot than a jet pot that I could also use on a campfire. I have used my aluminum oil kettle many times over a fire and love its flexibility. It worked great. It took a little longer and I suspect it's a little less efficient than using a regular pan. Which makes sense considering it sits a little higher and doesn't have a heat exchanger. I used it once for a standard backyard test. I would adviseโ€ฆ

This WILL DO, but I wish there was a better version of it.

PRO: MATCHES a regular water jet with an orange base and jerry can, but it all depends on the stacking order. Canister, pot stand, burner, then orange stand (if I remember correctly) And - as my friend suggested, put it all in a large ziplock bag and then cut the zip off so you have a clear plastic sleeve to put in the Canister and then you don't have metal against metal. Facilitates loading and unloading. CONS - This thing has a sharp, pointy, chunky design that doesn't stack very well. Youโ€ฆ

Works well with cast iron skillet

I bought this to use my Jetboil stove with cast iron skillet instead of dual stoves. This saves space as the adapter simply fits into the JB pan. It cooked great on cast iron and was sturdy enough to leave unattended for a few minutes. I wouldn't use an oversized pan for this and would recommend something with good heat distribution like cast iron as the flames will still be concentrated in one spot. But it makes your jetboil a lot more versatile and it doesn't cost anything. Please note thatโ€ฆ

A must if you want to turn your blast pot into a multifunctional oven!

Essential if you want to turn your jet boiler into a multi-purpose stove! You don't want to spend money on super nice cooking with Jetboil brands "Flux Ring" this allows you to use regular pots in pots, albeit in a rigged way. It's small, so large pots and pans are a bit unreliable and you may need to support them. Also note that it's recommended to use lower heat settings when using a pot stand, especially if your pot or pan is too thin. The central flame can be intense, I actually burned theโ€ฆ

HE FITS! I once figured out an obvious trick!

The color confuses me. Geometry was my favorite subject at school. However, it took me a while to figure out how this block "fits" to my MicroMo torch (which is basically the same as the MiniMo and some others in terms of "fitting"). I couldn't mount it on the burner and figured the problem was that the tabs on the bottom needed to be bent to allow the entire block to slide into the burner rim. NOT CORRECT! I fiddled with the protrusions with needle nose pliers, pressing and clamping the blockโ€ฆ
