Update I took it out I don't know what kind of hair it is but I don't like it, first of all this hair is very prickly, ie it itches when it comes into contact with the skin , even after after bleaching, washing many times, it was still hard and itchy. I had them after about 3 months, I just took them to find a better brand, no I didn't have to cut them off my head, they were too thick for my natural hair so over time as my hair grew back, it began to recover from expansions. The new extensions I have are a very different mix of hair, personally I think these extensions have been mixed with synthetic hair. and I say that because they were fully recycled when I bleached them
