It detangles quite well but leaves a thin residue I find.
I bought these for a thoroughbred gelding I work with as he has a thin tail. It detangles hair quite well but leaves a subtle mark, which I think is due to it being a volume detangler. I really didn't even notice if that made his cock look bigger. I think the doctor's office smells like soap. I do not mind. The detangler is white in color but absorbs well into the mane/tail so it doesn't like white streaks.
