Weird coating best in my review

The product says it’s coated with a food safe oil but it’s clearly some sort of lacker. It was a weird orange hue to it. It’s also advertised as Acacia wood under the material listed. I bought these to match my Acacia wood counter tops finished with a food grade oil. Vast difference in color. Luckily a previous poster said it comes off easily so maybe I can sand and oil them. They are one solid piece which is hard to find in a ladle shape. I have not yet cooked with them.

Are use this for a gumbo stews soups Ramen it’s perfect

Cons

The set is relatively expensive compared to other wooden spoon ladle sets on the market
