My cat had a bad reaction to her new litter. Skin became highly irritated and inflamed. She began licking and ripping her fur out because of it. Bought this cone to help her recovery (along with a cat medical spray, which was an absolute life saver). 5 days later and the irritated skin is now almost back to normal and she is still in the cone for the time being though. She doesn't mind it, shes easily able to eat and drink, only problems she seems to have is sleeping. (Which she just props her head/cone against something so its comfortable )She hasn't been able to get the cone off of herself and that was a main concern of mine. The cone has a nice soft edge that does not dig into her skin.
