After having 2 failed Cuisinart over the last 8 years, it was time for a change and I'm happy with my choice. Compared to the Cuisinart's, this one is so much better by far. Coffee taste is the same but the mess the Cuisinart's leave is ridiculous.With the Ninja there's no mess, there's no water or coffee all over the place. The carafe pours nicely, doesn't drip all over the counter or the maker. The well is removable & easy to fill. The pour spout on the carafe doesn't leak all over the pot. And it actually requires a bit less grounds for the same amount of coffee. I hope it lasts longer than the Cuisinart's 4 years. Time will tell.
