Review on Grizzly Industrial G0510Z 1 HP Shaper Woodworking Machine by Clinton Youmans

The speed is a little slow for smaller router bits. If you can find a 1.75 inch diameter pulley for the spindle this will put the rpms close to 12,000. Much better. The pulley is a metric one with a 17mm bore. Not easy to find. I turned my pulley down on my lathe and am very happy with the rpms now. The smaller bits work much better. It would be nice if Grizzly would include or offer a smaller pulley for using smaller bits with this unit.The Slot in the table is a little wider than 3/4" (metric?) some store bought feather boards may not fit the slot correctly.Really nice unit overall I'm happy with it. By the way the spindle bearings in my unit are NSK made in Japan! I was happy to see good quality bearings!
