Review on 👶 VTech Tummy Time Discovery Cushion by Chris Morgan

We love vtech toys! The songs get a bit dated over time (I literally sing them in my sleep) but they keep every kid I've ever met engaged and interested. This is a great toy for younger children who struggle with tummy tuck but not in the recommended 12months-3years range. My six month old HATED tummy time. We tried everything we could find to get him to endure even a few minutes on his stomach. This toy seemed to help, the lifting seemed to distract him from the fact that he was prone, and the music/light toy and mirror kept him awake for a few minutes. Eventually, he realized he was on his stomach and was doubly upset to find that he found it harder to roll over from an elevated position, but it helped build back and neck muscles. He is now 8 months old and lost interest when he became mobile. Although we've loved it for about a month, I can't see myself using it in the recommended age range.
