Tassels separated after first wash

Once I receive it I wash it in cold water on a gentle cycle so it doesn't tear, I dry it and all the brushes are torn and deteriorated. I have to use scissors to cut it. Thought it would brighten up your kitchen, it would rip every time you wash it and end up with a short towel. I am attaching a photo of the aftermath.

Pros

EASY CARE AND DURABLE MATERIAL - 100% cotton, machine washable. Wash in cold water, gentle cycle and tumble dry low, iron on low if needed. Do not bleach or dry in a hot dryer.
