Review on πŸ”Œ Black Curve Strap TECH USA by Jessica Martin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I recommend this product to other USPS mail carriers if you don't mind slippage.

I've tried several recommended straps from the post forums (Victornox, Skooba, Shokstrap) and their buckles deteriorated after a month of heavy use. I bought the OP/Tech SOS Curve a month ago and so far it has held up very well this holiday season. My route is hard and I'm also wearing 3 hours on another route which is MUCH harder and I do it 6 days a week and so far the only downside is the paint is chipping off the snaps. My bag is usually filled with SPR and smaller packages, but on wedding mail days my bag weighs over 30 pounds and still holds up well. The original brown strap is strong but digs deep into the shoulders, but this one doesn't. The other downside is that sometimes this thing slips off my shoulder easily when I bend down to put a letter in lower mailboxes, so I'm deducting a star for that. But other than that, it's a great alternative if you're looking for a replacement. Also, I'm 5"4" and the strap is adjusted to the shortest length and it works fine for me. Other straps (Victorinox, Skooba, and Shokstrap) hang very low even when adjusted to their shortest length (for those curious and about the same size as me). I will do another update soon. You see, the chromed metal rings around my bag didn't crimp the clasps like other branded straps did. I only have paint chipping around the clasp areas, mostly from tossing my bag around while carrying a bag that weighs over 30lbs and just general wear and tear, but they still work like new. You can also see that some of the rubber padding has worn just below the strap. I bought another one in case the holiday and election season approaches again and I might need to switch on the fly. Also, my shoulder is still It doesn't hurt like it used to with the original brown zippered bags, even though you're carrying a heavy bag and you're wearing an OT almost every day, which is very important when you're with a healthy shoulder without Operation want to retire.
