more stability when working on my stairs

painting on my house right now. Started as a small project to replace a circuit board in the garage and expand from there. With all that scraping, spackling, repairing, sanding, spackling and two coats of primer, I spend a lot of time on my stairs. I have a stepladder with a 6 foot wide platform that I walk to if it's high enough. But it doesn't achieve much on the outside. Standing on the steps of my extension ladder for a long time caused pain in my feet and legs, and I didn't feel very stable when balancing on the narrow steps. Browsing Revain for a ladder with a taller wide platform, I came across this platform to use with my extension ladder. What an incredible turning point. Now I stand on the platform for hours without the pain in my feet and legs. I also feel much more stable when I work. Very easy to use, just place the bottom brace on the step below where you want to stand and slide the platform over and into the step you want to stand on. Climb the stairs to the step above, then lower your foot and slide the platform. Very stable to stand flat. When you're done, reverse the process by stepping onto the step above, and then lowering your foot, pushing the platform back into the side stairs. Then just go down the stairs as usual. Much more comfortable than standing on the stairs. I'm able to work longer hours and actually achieve a lot more at the top of the career ladder. Very durable and well built. Definitely money well spent. I am so impressed I will be buying more for the family.
