Review on 🔌 Black Manfrotto 259B Extension for Tabletop Tripod - Enhanced Version Replacing 3007X by Brian West

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ideal for Point-N-Shoot recordings with the Manfrotto 209 table tripod (or possibly the Manfrotto Nanoclamp)

Well done; it is durable and lightweight. It has a telescoping section that allows it to grow to around 10 inches in length. I have to admit that to lengthen the telescopic section for the first time I had to carefully unscrew the collar with a vise while holding the case with another pair of pliers; it was quite tight (probably the lubricating oil had settled in it). Use with the Manfrotto 209 Headless Table Tripod - replaces the 3007, not the Manfrotto 709B Digi Ball Head Table Tripod. I'm glad I read the reviews before buying! I have a feeling this might work well with the Manfrotto 386B Nano (black) clamp as well, but you'll probably need an adapter (Maybe Manfrotto 037 Reversible Short Stud), to mount it. This is just a guess. I don't have it yet. I have a Manfrotto Super Clamp, but that would be huge overkill for a point and shoot camera, although the Manfrotto 259B Table Tripod Extension will fit with the bolt installed. I am considering using this product with a nano tim clamp. My time-lapse photo taken with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS3 12.1MP rugged/waterproof digital camera with 4.6x optically stabilized wide-angle zoom and 2.7" LCD (orange).
