I ordered the black and gray version that has no separate material in the leg area. Both had loose threads between their legs. The one I ordered had a black inner material, luckily that hasn't happened yet. I preferred the first version for the comfort and material, but the second version with black inner fabric is more durable, so by all means go for it. If you don't close the zipper, the pockets are flat and things can fall out.
