I used to have a wireless remote control for my Nikon D610. I don't know what happened to him. Bought as a replacement. Connects directly to the camera - make sure you have the remote settings on your camera. I like this remote control very much. My wireless remote control (Nikon brand) was very slow to respond. Sometimes it doesn't work at all. This remote is fast and responsive every time.
