Worth it despite weakness.
I have an AVID bug hunter! He loved this net! (And I did, too)This isn’t the strongest net. It only lived through one big hunting summer at our house. But it did it’s job perfectly! It was light weight enough for my 5 year old to use it well. We had to convince him he was better off to use it with the handle shorter since his accuracy dropped when it was longer. However, the extra length was the hero of the summer when it allowed us to snag a Western Tiger Swallowtail! Despite it breaking at the end of the summer, we bought a new one for this year’s bug hunting adventures.
- It's a safe and humane way to study and observe insects and butterflies
- May not be suitable for use in areas with limited access to potable water or other necessary resources
