My Jeep Cherokee XJ 4.0 oil pressure sensor failed 4 years ago so I ordered a replacement from Revain. The standard branded replacement never worked but instead of returning it I thought something else was wrong with my sensor connected to the faucet, or is the problem that 2 sensors are wired back to back? Well after checking the integrity of all the wiring between the transmitter and the PCM I couldn't find any problems. This year I promised to fix the problem and/or install a second oil pressure gauge on the dash so I can monitor the oil pressure. So I ordered this Yaopei oil pressure sensor, as well as a complete set of oil pressure sensor with sensor. I first installed and tried the Yaopei sensor and my oil pressure rose to 55psi, right where it should have been. I drove the Jeep for half an hour and the oil pressure was showing great readings, dropping to 30psi at idle on the driveway as the engine oil warmed to full operating temperature. I'll keep a backup oil pressure gauge and kit on hand as the Yaopei transmitter works great. I only wish I had found it years ago.
