The PG279QM is the best display I've ever had and it's worth every penny.- Pros: • Fantastic, detailed picture • Superb colors • Built-in G-Sync handles frame rate changes flawlessly. New World at 1440p and maximum settings (for example) regularly oscillates between 60 and 125 fps depending on what's going on in the game. The PG279QM runs as smooth as silk and can handle such dramatic frame rate drops without any tearing, lag or stuttering when diving in. • You can completely change the brightness and all display settings in sRGB mode. • Surprisingly bright for HDR400 only. • Compatible with ASUS Aura Sync ARGB. - Disadvantages: • Light can be seen on all black screens (e.g. when the monitor is switched on). Disabling the variable backlight might eliminate this, but it wasn't a big deal to me. • HDR400 with 16 local dimming zones is not true HDR. You don't get OLED or FALD IPS here. Summary: If you want top-notch refresh rates but don't want to sacrifice image or color quality, look no further.
