and would recommend it. Why I bought

**I DID NOT RECEIVE THIS DISCOUNT ITEM** TLDR; Works well with 2/3 ceiling fans, versatile and would recommend. Why I bought it: I bought this to clean 3 ceiling fans in my apartment. They were covered with dust because of the winter. They are typically 100% used in the Arizona summer, but between two people and a dog in the winter months the fans get very dusty. First impression: I have 3 ceiling fans in my apartment and two of them are the same light wood with slightly more polished/sanded blades and with darker blades but rougher edges. The rag did a good job with two fans, but from the darker wood it struggled to pick up some of the dust that was on the edge of the blade. It took a little more effort and was annoying, but not entirely undignified. Another scam was that he wiped some "bits" of dust on the floor. Unless your fans are so caked up I wouldn't expect it but the pieces fell on the floor and I just picked them up, I don't really care. I've even used it on a few other surfaces (living room piano, TV, dresser) and it picked up less dust too. I would say it's worth the price and purchase. I have no reason to believe it won't last long. Details: rag (can be used as a normal hand rag), extension cord (with two pull-out compartments). The pieces are pretty cheaply made, but they do the job for the price and look pretty good (the lime green is nice and kind of goes with my sweater). The pieces slide out and then pivot to snap into place. There's no "click" or anything to indicate it's in the locked position, but when you slide it to the extended position it stays fine. and it was enough to clean three fans in my house. As for washing, I would probably hand wash and air dry, but it picks up dust really well.
