I wear rubber gloves when I'm spreading rat poison in the basement and setting traps for large cockroaches. They all contain toxins that I don't want to put in contact with my skin. I have used thin disposable surgical gloves, but they tear easily and are not suitable for this purpose. These are way better. I have also used these gloves in the garden. They're strong enough to protect my hands but flexible enough to stay out of the way. As a male, I was embarrassed to leave the house in pink gloves, but I managed. I could get more respect in the neighborhood for wearing pink! I followed the sizing instructions on the site and found I needed a size 7. They fit perfectly. I like to have two pairs - one for poisons etc, the other for dishes and cleaning.
