Review on πŸ“» Enhanced Replacement Accessories for Crux SWRHN-62L Radio by Jeff Dabney

So disappointing, best in automotive and automotive electronics

I only ordered this product because it says that it does not require steering wheel programming of my car. controls. Unfortunately it isn't. Like most people, I wasn't able to install the radio until over the weekend. I took my car to the installer and after the install was complete everything worked except the buttons on the steering wheel. He walked me through the settings listed in the instructions and I made sure the settings were made for my model and model specs. Of course by this time it's already Saturday and they're about to close. The only option was to ask her to turn on the radio and try to ask Revane for help when I got home. This was another unfortunate event. A Revain representative put me in touch with Crux support and they said I would get a replacement steering wheel module. 3 weeks ago and still no replacement. I ended up just going to Best Buy, buying a universal module and installing it. My handlebar trolls are working fine now, but it cost me an extra $60. My recommendation is to buy from an installer and save yourself the hassle and frustration.

Pros
  • Maintains factory specs in some Honda vehicles when working with an aftermarket radio
Cons
  • Not bad but...
