Syringes are plastic and not the smoothest at drawing in or expelling fluid. I've had occasions where I've pushed the air out of the hoses when the syringe wasn't moving, and then the DOT fluid was suddenly spraying all over the room. The hose clamps are terrible too. They work, but your fingers will feel it for the next few days. It got to the point where I had to wrap it in a towel and clamp the pipes with both hands. The pipe material is too thick for this small clamp. Once you break it it's not too bad, but be careful because once you've made that crease you won't be able to adjust the position of the clip properly. He's doing his job, it's just agony pinching the hoses and getting smooth transitions with syringes.
