Review on ZULU Studio Plastic Bottle Silicone by Trey Michaels

This is my pick for a glass water bottle! I'm so glad I found Zulu Products just because I have a durable glass water bottle that can withstand accidental drops from time to time and doesn't have too many issues. I have reviews and ratings for the Mixing Glass and other Sporty Glass Zulu water bottles. Pros: Holds 25 ounces of water, love the fact it's glass from bottom to your mouth you drink from! I've dropped it from a table onto a carpet a few times with no problem, so although the glass is a bit thinner than the sportier Zulu glass water bottle, it still survives a fall onto a surface that's not as hard as concrete (never crashed like this!) It's the perfect size to drink a decent amount of water throughout the day without having to get up every hour to refill it because the bottle is too small, we're sportier. I really like the look of this one and it's really easy to keep clean because it's 90% glass. I like the size of the drinking mouth because my mouth can adjust around it and close while drinking (vs. the sportier one :D) and it closes very well and I have almost no problems spilling myself. Cons - really only real issue with that glass water bottle and so the handle on that cap lets me be careful with it (maybe that's why they made that handle so you don't weigh the bottle like I do with more sports bottles for the rope handle). But seriously, I would like the lid and handle to be stronger. When I first picked up this bottle when it was full (25 oz+) the handle squeezed the cap crookedly and since the cap unscrews in less than one full turn there is slight play in the cap which causes the If I may suggest, tighten the cap screw more - at least 2-3 turns so the grip is tighter, and don't let it feel a bit iffy by keeping it filled to the brim. It's not a major flaw as there is a small notch on the jar to fix the cap on the bottle but I think it could still be better. Summary is undoubtedly the most useful and my favorite jar. Bottle of water for today. A slightly better lid/handle could have been used for this, but that's not too much of a problem. Updated - 02/24/2020. Still my favorite glass water bottle! Suction pulling the rubber seal out of the lid. It's okay, but the first time I tried it I was scared because I thought it was broken. Now I'm just trying to be careful not to pour over the neck/bottom of the lid. Secondly, I noticed that when drinking, I like the fact that the neck and opening are smaller because your mouth can close the whole bottom more easily and you don't get wet, but at the same time when you try to pour something into it, annoying that he is small compared to his body. Overall - still very happy with the purchase! I love the fact that it holds 28 ounces yet is strong enough to take a small drop and survive which has happened at least a couple of times and I was expecting to hear a horrible glass shatter but to my delight it is it still intact. I've been using this water bottle daily for over a year and fill it multiple times a day. My favorite drinking bottle so far. Dropped a few times and no problem with the glass or plastic cover being cracked/broken. The only problem I happened to find is that the bodice is tight and quite loose. The mount is tightened all the way down until it's snug again (this makes the flip top cover fit too snugly around the jar hole so you have to push a little harder to get the latch to engage firmly), which makes it feel firmer and so when you're holding the bottle need to swing while walking, etc., don't feel like it will just break and become a disaster on the street or other place you walk. I've actually bought a second one in case this one breaks or on long trips where I can carry almost half a gallon so I don't have to buy plastic: D11/30/2021 update. After 20 or more drops I believe the lid is finally coming. its end. A crack develops under the thin part that is screwed to the bottle. My greatest memory was of my nephew who is less than a year old and who burst out laughing when I opened the lid when it was almost full of water. Louder than usual, Popa released and got him out of himself for almost 10 minutes. The lid no longer pops because the crack weakens the grip on the neck. I will definitely buy more.
